In 2018, 64 triathletes from 44 countries headed to the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires to compete across the male, female and mixed relay categories and chase Youth Olympic glory. The women got the action underway on day one of the Games, just hours after a huge Opening street party in downtown Buenos Aires
And Bosques de Palermo was the sun-kissed venue where Amber Schlebusch (RSA) and Paris 2024 Olympian Dylan McCullough (NZL) were crowned the individual champions. A few days later, Sif Bendix Madsen (DEN), Alessio Crociani (ITA), Anja Weber (SUI) and Alexandre Montez (POR) combined to win the Mixed Team Relay gold for Europe.
