The Mozambique Triathlon Federation is delighted to invite you to the 2026 World Triathlon Development Regional Cup Bilene, which will take place on 5 September in the beautiful  Uembje Lagoon a vast expanse of salt water, 27 km long., located in the north-east of Maputo

The swim segment will be held in the crystal- clear waters of Uembje Lagoon.Bilene is a peaceful, family-friendly and safe destination, ideal for those seeking the beauty of Mozambique’s beaches without the rough waves of the open sea is perfect for kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking, jet-skiing and snorkelling. , offering athletes a truly unique and breathtaking environment for the start of the race.

Triathletes from across Africa and beyond are warmly invited to compete in this event while enjoying a spectacular tropical setting. With scenic coastal roads for the bike course and a dynamic run route along the lagoon, the event promises both challenge and beauty.

Beyond the competition, athletes will experience the warm Mozambican hospitality, a safe and welcoming atmosphere, and the opportunity to discover the culture, cuisine, and landscapes that make Bilene so special.
