Triathlon Ireland is delighted to welcome the return of international racing to Derry〜Londonderry as the City of Derry Triathlon hosts elite and junior triathletes from across the world.

Competitors from near and far will race through the historic city, beginning with a river swim in one of Europe’s fastest flowing lowland rivers, the River Foyle. Competitors will then transition to a dynamic bike course before finishing with a spectator friendly run through the heart of the city. 

The experienced City of Derry Triathlon Race Committee has designed courses that meet required technical standards while maximising both athlete performance and spectator engagement, creating the ideal environment for world-class racing. 

Friday will provide an opportunity for course familiarisation, allowing athletes to prepare and become comfortable with the race environment. On Saturday morning, age-group athletes will take to the start line, followed by the highlight events featuring both junior and elite competitors.We wish all competitors the very best of luck and look forward to welcoming you to the City of Derry.
