On 19 April 2020, the European Championships in Duathlon will be held for the first time over the classic distance (10/60/10 km) at the Powerman Alsdorf. This makes the city of Alsdorf a week after Easter a stronghold for athletes.

The Powerman Alsdorf is part of the Powerman World Series. This is the largest brand duathlon in the world with sprint, short and long distances. Over the Classic distance, 10 kilometers of running, 60 kilometers of cycling and 10 kilometers of running, the European championships for the elite and the age groupers take place. In addition to the title and a lot of prestige, a prize money of 10,000€ is available for the elite competition.
For everybody we offer the very popular Powerman Sprint distance over 5 kilometers of running, 20 kilometers of cycling and 5 kilometers of running.
All competitions at Powerman Alsdorf will be held in 2020 as a “no-drafting”.
The competitions, in which a total of more than 1000 athletes will participate, take place in the centre of Alsdorf, where the circuits are held. The circuit for the career takes back in the city of Alsdorf from the monument square to the Annapark and over the Rathausstraße. The 20 kilometer long cycle path is a real highlight and takes back on the Übacher Road, the B221, the L240 and the B57 and back again.
