From September 8 to 12, 2027, Hamburg will once again host the world’s biggest triathlon event. By staging the Grand Finals for the very first time, the city will become the centre of international elite triathlon for five unforgettable days.

Twenty years after hosting its first World Championship event, the city on the Elbe will once again welcome the world’s best triathletes. Following the World Championships in 2007 and 2023, the 2027 edition marks the next milestone in Hamburg’s triathlon history, featuring the season finale and all world title decisions in one spectacular event week.

More than 500,000 spectators lining the compact city-centre courses around Rathausmarkt, Jungfernstieg and the Alster highlight the extraordinary scale and atmosphere of the event. Over the course of the week, more than 16,000 participants, alongside support staff, officials and guests from over 70 nations, are expected in Hamburg.

Traditionally, the SUZUKI World Triathlon Hamburg presented by HAMBURG WASSER will also host the Sprint and Standard Distance Open Races, which will celebrate their 25th anniversary in 2027.
