Training
Swimming
The designated training pool will be the London Aquatic Centre. Public transport is the easiest way to get there. The nearest tube station is Stratford with a 13-minute walk to the pool. There are also bike racks available outside the centre. See Google Map link.
Athletes/Managers need to pre-book their swim lanes online, using the link here. The allocated time is 1 hour per day, per athlete. Athletes must present their ID upon arrival to the swimming facility.

- Thursday 23rd July: 10:00am - 2:00pm (4x lanes)
- Friday 24th July: 9:00am - 1:00pm (4x lanes)
- Sunday 26th July: 11:00am - 2:00pm (3x lanes)
Cycling
Getting out of London is difficult, so we encourage you to use trainers when you can. However, there are a few options around the Docklands if needed:
If you can find your way to these Strava routes, these give you a couple longer options:
The official bike course uses private roads and national highways and operates in a contraflow configuration. These roads are not accessible outside the designated official bike familiarisation time
Running
There are no designated running training facilities for the event. The official run course for the event is located within the Excel and is not accessible outside of the event times.
Training runs can be done alongside the docklands, but please be aware there is restricted access between the Excel Centre and the water’s edge.
