Overview of Race Courses
The competitions of the SUZUKI World Triathlon Championship Series Hamburg presented by HAMBURG WASSER 2026 will take place on three different courses:
- City Centre Course
(Elite Sprint, Elite Mixed Relay & Para World Series) - Open Races – Saturday
(Sprint Distance) - Open Races – Sunday
(Standard Distance & Para World Series)

Road Closures & Traffic Management
All race courses will be fully closed to vehicle traffic during the respective event times:
- Full closures along the entire course
- No crossing traffic possible
- Subject to change

Information for Pedestrians
- Crossing points will be available along the course
- In some cases, diversions will be routed via underground (U-Bahn) passages
- Waiting times are to be expected during the races
Period of Restrictions
Extensive traffic measures will already be in place ahead of the races:
- From Friday, 10 July 2026, 8:00 p.m.
- Until approximately Sunday, 12 July 2026, 10:00 p.m.
Significant traffic disruptions are to be expected in the city centre area around the Binnenalster during this period.
