The Mauritius Triathlon Federation is delighted to invite you to the African Triathlon Sprint Championships 2026, which will take place on 14 June in the beautiful lagoon of Blue Bay Marine Park, located in the south-east of Mauritius.

The swim segment will be be held in the crystal-clear waters of Blue Bay, one of the island's most stunning natural sites. The marine park is renowned for its exceptional biodiversity, vibrant coral gardens, and turquoise lagoon, offering athletes a truly unique and breathtaking environment for the start of the race 

Triathletes from across Africa and beyond are warmly invited to compete in this championship while enjoying a spectacular tropical setting. With scenic coastal roads for the bike course and a dynamic run route along the lagoon, the event promises both challenge and beauty.

Beyond the competition, athletes will experience the warm Mauritian hospitality, a asafe and welcoming atmosphere, and the opportunity to discover the culture, cuisine, and landscapes that make Mauritius so special.
