The Junior races of this event will assign 4 male and 4 female places for the Junior World Championships.
Nations elegible for these places are: ARG, BOL, BRA, CHI, COL, ECU, PAR, PER, URU and VEN. One NF can qualify a maximum of 3 places. If the top 4 places are from the same NF the next NF will get the spot.
